Hair Haircutting [45 minutes – one hour] We strive to make every haircut a fun, relaxing, and educational experience. Starting with a full consultation to determine the exact result you are looking for, then on to the haircut. We finish by styling and recommending the proper products and tools. Your stylist will provide a listening ear and professional advice to help give you the desired result at home. 5 - 7 weeks for maintenance visits. Formal Hair [Practice Appointment: one hour / Day of Appointment: 45 minutes] Whether you are a beautiful bride or attending a black-tie gala, it is important to feel your best at any affair. Cristy does personalized formal hair. She can beautifully re-create the picture of your dreams or invent the perfect up-do for you, your dress and your event. If it is a wedding you are planning, put your mind at ease and book Cristy for your entire wedding party. Or if it is just the bride who will need her hair swept up in a one-of-a-kind hairstyle, you will be left without worries after your practice up-do. Brides must schedule a practice appointment no more than two weeks before your wedding date. As weekends do book up quickly and in advance, plan well ahead for your appointment scheduling. Any formal event you are attending, having your hair done is the key to feeling your best. NOTE: On the day of your appointment please come without washing your hair, it allows the hair to perform better, but no one will be the wiser. Also a button up shirt is necessary. You wouldn’t want to ruin your new style by pulling a shirt over your head. All times are approximate. Full Foil [1.5 hours] A full foil is great for people with any length hair who want the full head in a highlighted look. You and your stylist will consult and decide on the amount of color and the exact shade for you. A full foil will highlight your bang area and all around your face then continue to the bottom of your neck, including all hair in between. This technique is great for the client who pulls their hair up and likes to see the dimension of their color all through the hair. You can choose to have subtle highlighting or something bold. 2-3 months for maintenance visits. Partial Foil [one hour] A partial foil is perfect for the client with long or short hair that does not need the underneath area of your hair highlighted. Highlights are added through the top of your hair and just off the front of your face. If you do have longer hair, this is the perfect service to alternate every other time with a full foil, saving you time and cost. During your consultation, you and your stylist can choose from that slightly sun-kissed look, matching up your roots to your ends or a bold new change. 2-3 months for maintenance visits. All over color [one hour] Looking to cover your gray or just enhance your natural color? All-over color is the perfect solution for you. This can be done with either semi-permanent or permanent color. The amount of gray in your hair and how much coverage you want will determine which one you need. Your stylist will take the time to show you samples of color and make sure you come up with the perfect custom color to enhance your hair and skin. 4-6 weeks for maintenance visits. Partial or Full Foil with All Over Color [1.5 hours] This technique combines highlighting with full coverage of the hair in between the foils. While creating dimension with the highlights you can cover the gray hair or bring back too light of hair to a more natural state. See our description of partial and full foils above to determine where you would want to have the highlights stop. 2-3 months for maintenance visits. Reverse Foil [one hour - 1.5 hours] This is a great technique for the client who is looking to add a little darker color or take away some of your gray without coloring 100% of your hair. The grow out is more subtle and manageable. You and your stylist will choose the perfect shade of color for your skin and desired look. A reverse foil can be done as a partial or full foil depending on where you want the color to stop. See above description to decide which is best for you. 2-3 months for maintenance visits. Baliage Highlighting [1.5 hours] This is the latest in highlighting techniques. The color is placed on the hair with a painting technique that allows very precise placement. This is done throughout the hair working with its natural growth for a very natural sun-kissed look. 2-3 months for maintenance visits. Perm [one hour fifteen minutes] A perm can achieve soft, loose tendrils or serious ringlets in your hair. Both will give you the added body you are looking for. With a consultation between you and your stylist, you can determine the perfect curl for the style you desire. Whether you want to wash and go or just add some body to make your hairstyle easier, we can get you there. 4-6 months for maintenance visits. Relaxers [one hour] This chemical straightening is great for a client with extremely naturally curly hair who desires to style it smooth with ease. It will provide you with 2-3 months of straight hair. This technique is permanent and will only need to be touched up at your roots as they grow in. You need to have about one inch of grow out before doing your next relaxer. Japanese Straightening System [3-5 hours] This is the way to take your curly hair you have fought all your life and make it look naturally straight. Or if you have extremely thick, wavy hair and are tired of always trying to flatten it down, this is your answer. It will amaze you with the before and afters leaving you wondering why you haven’t had this done your whole life. It is a new technology that permanently chemically straightens your hair and leaves it looking shiny, smooth and feeling healthy. You only have to maintain this about every six to eight months! Your day to day styling will be cut in half with your new manageable hair.
